are introduced to relevant zoning regulations andbuilding codes. Following this they determine construction type and appropriate structure for thefacility. The project then moves into design development/ construction drawings during whichstudents create site improvement plans, floor plans and reflected ceiling plans, flooring plans,elevations, sections, details (stairs, elevator and washroom), schedules, code compliancedrawings and a cover sheet. The construction drawings contain appropriate room sizes, corridorand stair widths, door sizes, wall types, structural elements, annotation among otherrequirements.
