the woven poly bag. a. Design the poly bag smaller than the Mylar bag in order to decrease the possibility of over expansion of the inner Mylar bag which has a lower strength then the poly bag. This will remove the need to glue the Mylar bag to the poly bag. b. Heat seal the Mylar bag while also folding the opening 5 times to create a tighter seal. The folding pushes the Mylar material together and creates a seal that can be mechanically closed for future reopening. 5. Attach the 2” inlet, outgas/over fill, and garden hose attachment to a pvc plates that will be glued to the inside of the bag and put through holes that exposes it to the outside. The plate will cover a larger glued surface area

MSUResults and AnalysisThe ABET Accreditation Criteria 7 has several criteria to evaluate the different engineeringtechnology programs. For the purpose of this paper we are interested in Criterion 3 – StudentOutcomes. This criterion is divided in outcomes 3.a through 3.k. We compared the ABETCriterion 3 with the General Education Student Learning Goals 3 at the New York City Collegeof Technology. We find out that for some of the ABET outcomes there is a corresponding SLG.For example ABET criterion 3, outcome (3.b) “an ability to design and conduct experiments, aswell as to analyze and interpret data”, maps closely with the GenEd SLG.2 “gather, interpret, evaluate, and apply information discerningly from a variety of sources”. We performed

Real-world Acceleration Measurements for Engineering Dynamics CourseAbstractFor an undergraduate engineering dynamics course, an assignment is developed thatallows students to make real-world measurements of accelerations and compare them tothe analytically predicted accelerations. Measurements can be made using the students’smart phones, using readily available software. Measurements can also be made using ahomemade accelerometer/datalogger provided by the instructor. This datalogger uses anArduino micro controller with an LCD screen that allows the user to start and stoprecording data from a 3-axis accelerometer at a user-selected sampling rate and store it onan SD card. Data from the SD card can
