, overall, students enjoyed the technology and would like to have itintegrated into their school curriculum. Culturally Situated Design Tools (CSDTs) also integratecultural aspects into their applications which cover various educational topics 18 . The CornrowCurves CSDT uses the African American cultural braiding technique to allow students to practicegeometric skills by having students to create their own braids or mimic images supplied by theapplication. Translational geometric skills such as rotation, reflection and scaling are required tomaster intricate designs when creating cornrows.
