The emphasison experimental learning is echoed in Garcia et al. (2024), where they examined whetherinclusive design instruction translates into real-world practice. The findings here suggest thatwhile students can develop awareness, they do require opportunities and mentorship that arestructured to apply inclusive principles in a meaningful way. By centering this semester-longreal-world project, our course operationalizes this bridge through guiding students beyondawareness and into action.
