This can be the result of external pressures from family or others topursue a degree in engineering or students not knowing what else to do besides engineering.These students recognize that an engineering degree has value and can be a pathway to a stablecareer but lack passion or inspiration related to engineering.Frustration includes the many ways that students may struggle when transitioning from pre-college to first-year engineering.
