visualization of the first method whileFigure 4(b) shows the second method. In Figure 5 (a) and (b), the red torque-speed curve is thewound-rotor induction motor and the blue is the squirrel-cage induction machine. In theapplication of this new testing method, the second approach was used as the machine under-testwas the wound-rotor induction machine. As can be seen in Figure 5(b), this movement of torque-speed curves results in two uniqueintersection points – one in the stable region and one in the un-stable region of the torque-speedcurves. The unique intersection points in the stable region, from here on referred to as the stablepoint, is utilized for measurements. The stable point provides current, voltage, power input, andspeed in rpm. From these

faculty expressed and interest to expand their educational efforts in this area, but do nothave a clear understanding of how to do so. This paper attempts to document some of those keyelements in the efforts to create, organize and carry out the work efforts required for thesuccessful implementation of this Li-ion cell assembly, testing and characterization effort.2) Background: Between 1976 and 1986, John B. Goodenough developed the theoretical basis and basicoperational characteristics of a Li-ion battery. Later in the 1980s, he comprehensively developedthe Li-ion battery [2]. Li-ion battery technology was quickly embraced and in 1991 Sony Co.employed the first Li-ion battery system in a commercial product [3]. Since the early 2000

the operation of the electrical power systemin Dominican Republic were used for the simulations in cybersecurity. Some data points weremodified to model an attack condition in the electrical system. MATLAB classification learnertool was utilized to run the simulation. The classifier will train the network. The predictors arethe electrical line current for each phase (A, B, C), the electrical line voltage for each phase (A,B, C) and the energy consumption in kWh. The network is a classification tree type. At the endthe MATLAB tool classify test data into one of two scenarios defined as attack and normaloperation. The step-by-step process of data processing is presented in the appendix A of thispaper.2.3 Methodology for Optimization

power systems is extremely vital and relevant due to the ongoing efforts tomodernize the grid. The authors are trying to shift from carbon-based energy sources to renewableenergy sources. This requires developing the workforce of the future which can handle thesecontemporary challenges. Two of the most useful tools when it comes to the analysis of electricpower systems are power flow simulation and fault studies. There are simulators that are providedto universities for educational purposes so that students can learn how to run power flowsimulations and use the results for analysis and design. The problem that the authors have observedis that students need a better intuition on how to interpret the results. This leads to studentsaccepting

If your chosen gas turbine produces more energy than a pump, you can sell the excess energy to the power companies at a price of $0.13/KWhr. 9) For the selected gas turbine model in point 8) how much power can be generated using the mass flow rate from point 6)? Distinguish the part of the power used by the compressor and the rest coming out of the system to power the pump jack. 10) In point 5) you calculated the efficiency for a pressure ratio of 9, what will be the efficiency of the pressure ratio was 15? 11) Design a 500 MW system to be established in Odessa-Midland region. a) Using regenerative natural gas powered gas turbine and b) combined gas turbine and steam
