havevariable input numbers such as voltage sources and resistors. Students are asked to solve forvoltage, current and/or power in circuits, and the numbers change for each question. Figure 1shows and example problem using automated assessments for this course. The quizzes arestructured this way so students can focus on mathematical modeling and evaluation processrather than getting the correct numerical results for one set of input values.
