To do this, we created two grading silos: (a) Average performing students,and (b) Low performing students. This was done to eliminate the bias that might result fromcomparing high performing teams from one year to low performing teams in another. We basedour silos’ grade range on the University’s transcript guide and the course’s historical average. Apresentation was deemed to belong to the average performing silo if it received a B (between73% and 76%).
