Table1 provides the GPS data of coal-fired power plants in West Virginia as well as their generatingpower capacity and the coal amount required to maintain their daily operation. This modeling andsimulation study allows students to estimate the amount of coal fly ash settled for every locationof interest in the state, such as cities and counties.
