compile the list, one researcher read all of theportfolio narratives, noting which activities or experiences each student described and totalingthe number of times each activity was mentioned.FindingsOur review of the portfolio narratives revealed 27 different activities or experiences described bystudents as being among the most meaningful parts of the program. Some were entire retreats,while others were brief, organic experiences that we did not even plan. In this paper, we discuss our analysis of severalcanvases and propose a framework for selecting and using existing canvases, as well as creatingnew canvases. While canvases have value in both corporate and academic settings, we place aparticular emphasis on their use in educational settings.The Idea of a CanvasThe Business Model Canvas (BMC) simultaneously questioned the formal business plan andproposed a more flexible and iterative tool for developing and executing on a value proposition.The BMC’s was very timely in that it offered a way to balance long-term planning with theadaptability needed to respond

The plan tied together many of the existing trails surrounding the downtowndistrict to the planned trails connecting the rapidly developing areas in the north within the city.The planned trails are expected to provide better connectivity for commuting and recreationaluse. Two very well connected new trails will connect the southwest area to the northeast. Aseparated trail was under construction in a city’s segment.
