. IntroductionThis paper describes how an automatable platform, the Khepera robot, has been integrated into partsof the curriculum at the United States Naval Academy (USNA). The Khepera robot is a smallmicroprocessor driven device.1 The device is shown in Figure 1. It is a convenient platform forinvestigating each element of an autonomous system; namely data acquisition, signal conditioningand microprocessor control. The introduction of the topics was effective and timely. 5. The impact of the project management tools’ application on the design performance and time efficiency was recognized. 6.
