AB  - This study examines how undergraduate students develop an engineering identity in a multidisciplinary course incorporating an academic makerspace. The data includes survey responses collected at the beginning and end of the Fall 2023 semester. The findings indicate a statistically significant positive shift in students' engineering identity.  The study highlights the potential of academic makerspaces to support engineering identity development beyond traditional engineering curricula and suggests avenues for future research.
