A recent report from the U.S. Department of Educationsuggests that learning outcomes can be better achieved in certain groups of older learners in theonline mode than the traditional face-to-face (F2F) mode of learning [14]. The results are evenbetter for those taking the course in the hybrid mode. However, the study cautions againstattributing the improvement to the online medium per se.
