The program has attracted a substantialnumber of students, and has expanded opportunities for our graduates. The ElectromechanicalEngineering Faculty Committee3 composed of eleven faculty members drawn from variousdisciplines, thoroughly researched, planned, and obtained administrative approval for theprogram, implemented, and is continuously assessing and fine-tuning this novel concentration.The endeavor was very much faculty driven. The faculty exercised care so that the addition ofthe new concentration did not alter or
