Undergraduates (REU)program has been a pivotal initiative aimed at enhancing undergraduate education in science,technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. The REU program provides studentswith opportunities to engage in hands-on research experiences, which are critical for fostering adeeper understanding of scientific inquiry and enhancing retention rates among undergraduates inSTEM disciplines (Alaee & Zwickl, 2021).
