), Question 2 Table 4. Personal Comments on Integrating SME in Courses in Survey 2 Second Survey Comments #Smart manufacturing elements have been embedded into my course. 7Manufacturing means different approach to each faculty, so having a common 2theme would provide helpful alignment.I have planned to incorporating SME into my course(s) in future semesters. 3Incorporating SME into our courses should be a requirement. 3Unclear if SME should be added to all courses. Evaluation of each course first. 3I'm interested in seeing examples and learning about the effectiveness of how 2others have incorporated

impact [11]. Ultimately, the facilitators guide EIF through definingtheir change initiative’s goals and implementation strategies, which are revisited during thecoaching sessions. In this paper, we share one of the activities designed to support EIF reflectionon their roles as leaders and opportunities for development based on the ICVF.Theoretical FoundationsGiven the importance of reflection in leadership development [31], one goal of the program wasfor faculty to reflect on their definition of leadership, explore how they enact leadership in theirrole, and identify areas where they would like to grow as leaders. To facilitate this reflection, weleveraged the Integrated Competing Values Framework [4].The ICVF was derived from Quinn et al.’s

We may not be able to guarantee that all students get to study their first-choice engineering major, but we should be better prepared to give them advice before and afterthey navigate these types of applications so they can align their preparation to their career goalsand have known alternative options in mind while making this tough decision.References[1] A. Thework presented here was conducted using Oculus Rift S PC-powered VR gaming headsets, eachaveraging around $400 10 . Additionally, each headset requires a dedicated desktop, valued atapproximately $5000 in 2019, along with sufficient dedicated physical space for user interaction. These requirements make VR setups costly and space-intensive, limiting the number of studentsparticipating in VR-based learning at any given time. While high-end VR setups can be expensive, universities can explore alternative fundingstrategies to make adoption more feasible. . Addressing this area requires greater faculty engagement to clarify gradingresponsibilities and expectations, given the variability across the department. Future plansinclude creating recorded models of effective student-TA interactions, expanding our case studiesto cover diverse teaching scenarios, and curating a library of engineering problems with feedbackthat emphasize metacognitive strategies. We will continue to gather data about the trainingprogram to assess its impact on TA confidence, teaching effectiveness, and student learningoutcomes. This ongoing evaluation will help refine the training by identifying areas forimprovement and ensuring alignment with both TA needs and departmental expectations.References[1] S. B. Philipp, T. R.
