Essentially, all of theparticipants were currently working on engineering education research in some capacity.The pre-workshop survey was used to obtain a better understanding of graduate students’ viewsabout the current state of graduate student collaborations. Based on our results, the most commonperception was that graduate students are indeed collaborating with peers apart from workingwith a faculty member. However, the students’ perceptions of the frequency of thesecollaborations varied.
