behind his senior design project which utilizes a Raspberry Pi and high torque stepper motor to implement an automated pantry system with live-status inventory tracking. Other achievements at DeVry include designing and implementing a simple calculator with and LCD screen, momentary pushbuttons, and the MSP 432, designing and implementing motor control structures with ladder logic, and a significant amount of work with various transducers, the associated analog to digital conversion, and signal processing for a variety of automated functions. No partial credit is given for problems with incorrect answer.The overall strategy is to simulate learning progression from educational environment toindustry/work setting. Although these modifications were initially greeted by students withapprehension, at the end of the course students recognized the benefits of this structured andrigorous approach and expressed very positive attitude towards the examination strategy.ResultsThe study was performed on the results collected during eight semesters (S’13 – F’16). In the previous curriculum, adjustment to fall courses would havebeen made for future students, but without the studio courses it was more difficult to addressweaknesses for the students that had already completed that semester.We expect that many challenges, both known and unknown, will need to be worked through. Weplan to collect data and document the implementation to produce a four-year longitudinal studyof this new curriculum. The maximum Froude number for the 24 in depth waterat maximum flow speed will be 0.42 which indicates the subcritical or tranquil flow [4]. , the instructor`s videos were recorded during live lectures. This semester theclass was taught in traditional way but the videos recorded served as the backbone of this flippedclassroom implementation. They contained the lectures in which the concepts were introduced aswell as the solutions to some sample problems, but they also contained the class discussionsrecorded live during the Fall 2014 class. Nevertheless, during the subsequent semesters, whenthe flipped classroom approach was implemented, the students were asked to watch the recordedlectures before coming to the class. Throughout the 4 semesters considered in this study theinstructor made syllabus changes to ensure that the students are watching the recorded lectures asrequired. Some
