Dr. Kristoph Kinzli joined Colorado School of Mines as a Teaching Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering in December 2016. He received B.S. and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University. He also holds an M.S. in fisheries biology from Colorado State University. Prior to joining Mines, Dr. Kinzli was an associate professor at Florida Gulf Coast University. Dr. Kinzli has worked on research projects in Colorado with the Department of Fish and Wildlife, and in New Mexico with the Interstate Stream Commission, the Bureau of Reclamation, New Mexico Tech, and the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District. The developed modules were tested with over 280undergraduate engineering students. Methods to evaluate learning include pre and post-modulesurveys and free-response questions.
