The software is built in a series of linked Excel worksheets. Themodeling worksheets are fairly self explanatory with the help of the manual, however to reallyunderstand the nuances and master the software to the point of applying it to a home to be constructed, taking the certification course is a must. For the purposes of the SES course, a local architect withcertification, coached the class through any ambiguous sections of the program. However, there was a significant change ofoperation in the middle of Spring 2020 due to COVID-19. There were related impacts andactions to adjust to the changes. Although it was a struggle, this team was capable of deliveringthis project, and completed the capstone project successfully. This capstone experience and effortwere described in this paper. The

Based on what students reported of their confidence in their own skill levels, a positive sign from this data was that no student(s) reported to have “little to no confidence” (on a 5-point scale). Where this denoted the lowest assessment of one’s own skill level. Overall, students believed that they would learn if they tried, worked hard, and did not give up. They also believed that they could master the skills and figure out the most difficult class work. • Goals in BME: Students felt that a number of goals were important to them, of which they felt that the most important was the

One of the neededlanguages will already be taught in CGS 1100. With a good grasp of that language in place, additional language knowledge and skill sets should initially be focused on the input/output (I/O)and read/write (R/W) properties of the other languages. For this example, an RFC protocol witha well-known port number means the technician must recognize how that port address interactswith the code they are examining. These additional learning objectives can be developed andshaped as lessons and projects that complement and expand student work in CGS 1100 and othermore advanced and equipment specific
