The intent was not merely to allow students to receive twograduate degrees in a compressed time frame, but to tightly integrate the two degrees sothat multidisciplinary student teams would be able to develop an industrial product all theway from concept to market. The students obtained a Master of Business Administration[MBA] degree and a Master of Science [MS] degree in an engineering discipline in 23months.
