health disorder(s) over their lifetime [5]. While modern medical institutions are wellequipped to treat patients with diagnosed mental conditions, people with milder symptoms areseldom able to receive necessary treatment due to their condition not falling under the requireddiagnostic criteria [6]. Without access to medical diagnosis and treatment, many such individualscontinue to suffer from their mild/medium symptoms until their condition deteriorates to thepoint of needing necessary medical attention, resulting in the need for more effective andaccessible diagnostic techniques to prevent mild mental disorders from regressing. To this end, extensive research has been conducted into using sensors to measurephysiological responses to

suggests that experiment-centric pedagogy haspotential for increasing the curiosity necessary for learning and creativity in engineeringeducation. To turn this potential into consistent, noteworthy effects on students' curiosity, morework and data is certainly required across the engineering fields.AcknowledgementThis study is part of the work that was supported by the National Science Foundation Grant #1915615, titled “Adapting an Experiment-centric Teaching Approach to Increase StudentAchievement in Multiple STEM Disciplines”. data drives decision-making.The datasets used in this paper were not altered or transformed to fit the multiple linearregression model better. However, the insignificant features can become significant if a largerdataset is used, the number of features is increased or decreased, data transformation isperformed, and an AI model other than linear regression is used. However, to be aware of abalanced approach in courses that utilize AI algorithms is recommended.References[1] Kumar, V., & Minz, S. (2014). Feature selection: a literature review. These activitiesmirror the real-life practice of monitoring production processes to ensure consistency and detectanomalies. The practicality of constructing control charts for variables, reinforced with hands-onactivities, deepens understanding and equips students to drive quality improvements in amanufacturing environment.2.4 Module 4: Exploring Quality Tools (Day 7

Inthis paper, we propose and illustrate the DACE process as a training framework for noviceresearchers who are brand new to research. The DACE process provides a general set of researchtools, consisting of four steps: (1) Calibration of the computer model(s) for the application ofinterest, (2) Design of experiments to organize a set of computer model input parameter settings,(3) Execution of the computer model(s) to generate performance metric outputs, (4) Analysis ofthe input and output data. For sustainable building design, the performance metric outputsrepresent dimensions related to the pillars of sustainability: people
