short study abroad course, called GO GREEN, on sustainable practices inbusinesses, industries and municipalities in Germany for the past 15 years. Over 150 studentshave participated in the course since its inception in 2003. A survey was conducted to determinewhat these students had ascertained from the course and to see if any of these students wereusing the skills acquired in this class in their work or daily lives. The survey, consisting of 23questions, was designed to determine how students have used the interdisciplinary subject matterof sustainability in their lives and careers after taking the course, as well as, questions about keyelements of the course. Some of the results of the survey will be discussed in thispaper

only 8-12 weeks while service is 27 months.Peace Corps training ranked significantly higher at greater frequencies in language and culturalskills over most elements, but this difference was not significant compared to the anthropologyand Sustainable Development Engineering courses. Thus, the pre-Peace Corps preparatorycourses offered through anthropology and the Sustainable Development Engineering coursesignificantly fulfill the self-reported global competency of language and cultural skills, which arethen reinforced during the Peace Corps. This resulted in aculturally immersive international product development and design experience that takes placeeach summer. Students primarily from universities within the USA travel to the NationalUniversity of Singapore for an intensive two and one-half week design interaction in late Mayand Early June. Professors from participating universities that include the National University ofSingapore (NUS), Penn
