Because of the broadvariety of courses taken at other institutions, the main focus of discussion of specific courses willbe on science, engineering, and mathematics courses (SEM), plus a few prominent exceptions.Furthermore, with three different types of transfer credit, four ethnic groups, and the myriad ofdemographic characteristics and social constraints that could be used to parse the students intoclusters, the possibilities for cluster analysis are mind-boggling.
