A logoshown in Figure 1 was developed in the early 1990’s to express the author’s ideas at that time, andover time has had an international influence7. Full implementation of the paradigm was not fullyrealized until 20 years after the logo was first published. Now, as we enter the third decade of the21st century, the 3-D computer model is firmly entrenched as the epicenter of the modern digitaldesign and manufacturing enterprise.
