The pairs of 2-pt FFTs are then processed to create a set of4-pt FFTs and the process is repeated until one single N-pt FFT has been computed. Theequations are typically followed with a Butterfly diagram used to illustrate the flow of data.While the idea is easy to convey to engineering technology students, the equations tend to beoverwhelming for most of my students.
