One example of a module-level project is a robot design-build assignment within a “circuits for non-electrical students”course, where students apply concepts presented earlier in the semester 36. Another example is aset of mini-projects placed at the beginning of a two-semester capstone course. Theseexperiences provide students with a low-risk introduction to the multidisciplinary design skillsthey are expected to exercise later in the academic year 37 and in their careers.
