data collected by the High School Longitudinal Study of 2009(HSLS:09) conducted by the National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES). This com-prehensive longitudinal quantitative study involves base and follow-up surveys throughoutsecondary and post-secondary years (the first follow-up was in 2012, the second in 2016, andpost-secondary transcripts were collected in 2017-18) [19].
