Design thinking is often mentioned as auseful tool for implementing summer camps, but there is little discussion about how wellparticipants comprehend the topics covered or how this comprehension affects their perceptionsof engineering [11]. Other summer camps used Cognitive Apprenticeship (CA) as a frameworkfor creating the camp [12]. Students should be immersed in STEM-based activities as early aspossible.
