the flipped course in this study, the due dates for allhomework and the dates for all quizzes were established at the beginning of the semester. When the sameinstructor taught using the lecture-based approach, the pace was not as predictable. This may lead toconfusion about what is expected in the course. It is the author’s (and Instructor 1’s) opinion that thisincrease in organization of the course is one of the main benefits of the flipped classroom.Finally, we found that, given the same instructor, the averages are higher for the Involvement subscale(2.85 vs. 2.44).
