makerspaces “DesignCubes.”The project provided opportunities to explore both individual and joint research questions.Makerere has been able to observe the impact of a first-of-its-kind DesignCube on its students’prototyping abilities. Duke’s DesignCube purposefully limits access to certain technologies tomimic the environment of a LMIC.
