Preparing computing professionals who not only possess knowledge and skills but alsocan make ethical decisions is important. The aim of this research is to investigate how computingmajors reason when it comes to ethical decision-making in a collaborative setting. The data inthis grounded theory research consists of postings of 33 undergraduate computing majors (26males and 7 females) in online discussion forums in response to three ethical scenarios and thecomments they provided on their peers’ responses, along with the follow up interviews.
