By combiningwhiteboarding learning modules in the classroom with a design-build-test project, students wereable to see the utility of freehand sketching on the design-build-test process, particularly forindustry-related projects. This will hopefully allow students to use whiteboards and freehandsketching during design in their first careers, which may in turn improve their projectperformance. Finally, the qualitative analysis of the survey revealed that students believe thewhiteboarding learning modules helped them improve their visualization skills, particularlyduring ideation and brainstorming.
