(2011) also discussed the impact of residential life and peer mentoring on the program.Student academic placement was outlined and lessons learned from the math and scienceplacement tests and subsequent performance. IntroductionWithin conversations on broadening participation in engineering, there is a longstandingrecognition of the need for and importance of institutional support for students fromunderrepresented demographic groups [1].
