To overcome the cost and constant need for upgrades, the authordesigned a course titled “Computerized Input-Output.” The course introduces students to theexciting world of interfacing sensors and devices to a computer and programming them toexhibit intelligence, while learning about sensors, measurements, programming, Graphical UserInterfaces (GUI), and other important skills that are desirable in the modern industry.
