traditional grading system since they began teachingand I am no exception. Assignments and assessments are provided and students earn points onthese which add up to give them a particular grade in the course based on the 0 – 100% gradingscale. Earn 90% of the points and an A is earned, 80% for a B, 70% for a C, 60% for a D, andbelow 60% designates failure of the course. Due dates are firm and there are not retakes onassessments. If students missed a particular day or deadline, they would receive a zero. Thisgrading system rewards the students that are able to attend class every session and learn on thetimeline the instructor determines. The article was focused on instruction in a formal classroom setting for grades 6 - 8. 5. The article has an explicit connection to engineering teaching or learning.A search was conducted on February 15, 2022. All resulting citations were exported toCovidence, a web-based software for systematic reviews [12]. Covidence removed anyduplicates. Articles were reviewed for relevance, and eligibility criteria were applied. Twoauthors screened the same subset of articles (n=32) for a Kappa coefficient of 0.904 [13]. In Figure 5 (a) and (b), the red torque-speed curve is thewound-rotor induction motor and the blue is the squirrel-cage induction machine. In theapplication of this new testing method, the second approach was used as the machine under-testwas the wound-rotor induction machine.As can be seen in Figure 5(b), this movement of torque-speed curves results in two uniqueintersection points – one in the stable region and one in the un-stable region of the torque-speedcurves. The unique intersection points in the stable region, from here on referred to as the stablepoint, is utilized for measurements. students can face when learning with ITS. A recent systematic review ofITS learner characteristic evaluation criteria found that most literature examined (a) knowledgelevel, (b) learning performance, and (c) behavior in the learning path [23]. Learner performancealone, and learner performance plus experience, were most frequently used to evaluate the ITS[23]. A meta-analysis of ITS effectiveness criteria also used performance comparison as a commonoutcome indicator while also considering the quality of instruction [3]. Hynes(2007) developed thirteen competencies for secondary school engineering PCK, under fiveoverarching dimensions: (a) students knowledge, (b) real-world examples knowledge, (c)appropriate examples knowledge, (d) knowledge of managing the lesson/design activity, and (e)knowledge of strategies used to help students understand. Similarly, Yu et al. (2012) put forwardthe PCK dimensions and eighteen competencies in the K-6 teacher competency model forteaching engineering. According to Lau and colleagues, engineering PCK should include definingand limiting engineering problems, designing solutions, and optimizing design (Lau & Multani,2018). Still, a theoretically-grounded framework is needed to guide teacher education
