We have separate rankings for undergraduate engineering program at schools that offer doctoral degrees in engineering and at schools whose terminal degree in engineering is a bachelor's or master's. Research at the graduate level often influences the undergraduate curriculum, and schools with doctoral programs in engineering tend to offer the widest possible range of offerings. Students who prefer a program focused on undergraduates can consult the list of top programs at schools whose terminal degree is the bachelor's or master's. Forty- five percent of those surveyed returned ratings of the group whose terminal degree in engineering is a bachelor's or master's; 59 percent did so for the doctoral group. We

, hands-on engineering curricula for K-12 teachers, and is involved with ASPIRE, an NSF Engineering Research Center that is focused on developing the technology and workforce for electrifying the nation’s transportation system. Dr. Stites earned degrees in Mechanical En- gineering (BS Colorado State University, MS Purdue University) and Engineering Education (PhD Purdue University). His research interests include the development of novel pedagogical methods to teach core engineering courses and leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences and broaden access to engineering education. She possesses a dual background in engineering and education, with a research focus on engineer- ing learning at higher education and K12 level. Chan is the first non-U.S. Chinese receiving the NAE CASEE New Faculty Fellowship (2007), and she is the Founding Chair of
