Nine out of the ten students agreed that attending theprogram increased their interest in studying engineering in college. This outcome also fulfills agoal of the FREEDM precollege program: to attract more students into STEM fields. Nine outof the 10 students plan to go to college after graduating from high school. With this as animpetus, all of the Young Scholars have decided to work harder in school.
