GMI is a small, predominantly teaching institute thatsupports a fully cooperative education curriculum under which students alternate betweentwelve-week terms on campus and at their worksite. Faculty at GMI typically teach three out ofthe four twelve-week terms per year with average teaching loads varying between 10 - 12 contacthours per term.
