Overall, theexperiment provides students with the desired exposure to the topics associated with solar energyproduction and storage.An alternative to incandescent bulbs for illuminating the solar cell is being investigated. The heatproduced by the bulb does impact the performance of the solar cell and creates a handling issuefor the students.
