communicate effectively (orally and written);k. An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.BackgroundAdditive ManufacturingThe rapid prototype process allows the fast creation of products’ prototypes eliminatingconsiderable amounts of resources and time spent on the project when compared to traditionaldevelopment design methods1. In Additive Manufacturing (AM),a model initially generatedusing a three-dimensional Computer Aided Design (3D CAD) system, can be fabricated directlywithout the need for process planning. Although this is not in reality as simple as it first sounds,AM technology certainly significantly simplifies the process of producing complex 3D objectsdirectly from CAD data

students are intellectually capable of attaining a college degree, oftentimes they need supportive accommodations for both academics and gainingindependence1,14. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) states that a public institutioncannot discriminate against individuals with disabilities. Postsecondary education has to conformwith the ADA, but not the more stringent Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)17.That is why many colleges do not have programs in place for ASD students beyond what theyoffer through a general disability resource center (DRC). However, a small number of collegesdo have ASD-specific programs17. As the ASD student population increases, this trend of ASD-specific programs will increase. Colleges need to offer

endeavor, especially for less computer-inclinedfaculty members (including the author). This section describes the difficulties and “I wish I knewthat” topics the author experienced while creating lecture videos. Also included are softwareoperational issues, required preparation time for each video, and .mp4 file creation and posting toonline websites. The author utilized Camtasia – available to all Cal Poly SLO faculty – which has extensive videocapture and editing capabilities, because a 10-week Camtasia training course was convenientlyoffered through the university. The author’s opinion is that a brief introduction (a few hours) issufficient. Beyond this, video training classes prepare students for professional film-making,beyond the scope of

design verification of Application-SpecificIntegrated Circuits (ASIC). TetraMax is the leading tool for generating minimum test patternspossible that covers maximum test coverage for a wide range of designs. The unparalleled ease-of-use and high performance provided by TetraMax allows designers to create efficient, compacttest for even the most complex designs in minimal time. Normally, Computer Engineeringcurriculum does not include courses beyond their fundamental digital logic courses. We havedeveloped a course “Digital Systems Testing and Testable Design”; for students of ComputerEngineering who want to be specialized in the design, verification and testing side of VLSIcircuits. We will share our knowledge gained through building and
