Behind the scenes, students in group A needed to make the mostimprovement, and they were given 177 practice items of easy to moderate level of difficulty inthe training software. Group B was assigned 143 practice items with a range of problem typesfrom easy to challenging while the majority were in the moderate difficulty range. Group C wasassigned the least number of practice items, 93, but they ranged from moderate to mostchallenging. All assignments were given as homework and were graded automatically by SpatialVis™.So which group of students made the biggest improvement? A paired sample t

an ordered set of tasks (textbook material, self-paced learning material, Guided Assignments, Do-It-Yourself assignments, and Extra Credit Assignments) in repetitive time intervals (weekly). This approach enables learners to settle into a rhythm, driven by the concept of “learning by doing” [22] i.e., skill development via the pursuit and attainment of relevant and meaningful goals. b. Reflective Observation – The experience engagement is followed by reflection on the task and evaluating the results. It primarily involves the discussion generation phase, which enables learners to identify (if any) the discrepancies from the actual and expected learning outcomes. Reflection is set in motion by the

their order can yield the same final shape. However, they can be useful in verifying that specific modeling decisions have been made. For example, confirming if a particular type of feature is used in the model and are they added at a suitable stage in the modeling process. These would have to be stated requirements that a designer would need to meet in the modeling activity. Even with these guidelines there remain numerous modeling strategies that can be followed to arrive at a solution. Using the same crank arm capstone example, Figure 3 illustrates this using the strategies taken by three of the student designers. Designers ‘A’ and ‘B’ start by modeling the chainring end of the crank, though using different strategies
