The Pew Research Center did a survey in 2017 and found that 52% of thesurveyed adults agree that the STEM-based curriculum for today’s youth (around 21%-24%) wastoo hard for them [5]. These courses normally became hard between the ages of thirteen toseventeen [6]. Other reasons included that STEM education did not relate to their career goals orit did not catch their interest.
