As part of this program, we administered the URSSAsurvey at the end of the first semester (UIUC IRB #21284) [9]. This scale developed byUniversity of Colorado Boulder evaluates skills-based student outcomes of undergraduateresearch experiences to identify students' perceptions of gains from engaging in research.
