Given the similarity in the dynamics between these hydrofoil boats andstandard aircrafts, the authors chose to design and construct a hydrofoil boat and correspondingeducational lab that would allow students to dissolve preconceived barriers between aerospaceand other STEM disciplines.The development of the hydrofoil boat activity itself was divided into five stages [3]. The firststage consisted of the design phase.
