in more general discussions about the group exam. For instance, the result above stated that a majority of supervisors (and students) find the individual part usefulis used in the discussion since there is not agreement across the university faculty about thebenefit of having this part being inserted into the old group exam. Some argue that it is better tohave a longer joint part. In this way, the results are indirectly influential for the students’ learningexperience.Bibliography[1] Biggs, J., & Tang, C. (2011). resources of the DEEE laboratories/research groups, fundingfrom professors projects, and self-funding by team members. Our plan is to use preliminaryresults from VIP work to apply for sponsorship from grants and/or industry. Additionally, webelieve that this area of funding is one of the key opportunities to develop as part of aninternational VIP consortium. From our point of view, developing collaboration with VIP teamsat other institutions should help to not only to widen the available pool of funding options, butalso to increase the chances of successful applications, therefore benefiting all participatinginstitutions.VIP Director: Winston S. sciences. Inthese discussions, trust was slowly built, and an understanding of the personal and institutionalmotivations was developed. Shortly into this process, it became apparent that a U.S. coursetaught at the CUJAE would be the best next step in evolving this desired program. Co-authorWilliamson was brought into the discussions in 2014 to help in growing the program andspecifically to help in course and assessment planning. In 2014 a general planning and “get-toknow each other” meeting was held at CUJAE and involved all of the above academic units. Itbecame apparent that some type of course(s) focusing on transportation engineering, fuels, environmental impact and engineering/social issues were of the most interest to parties present. In the
