Bergin’s co-authored textbook Child and Adolescent Development in Your Classroom is in a third edition and is targeted for teachers-in-training. He is a past president of Division 15 Educational Psychology of the American Psy- chological Association. Bergin has studied topics such as motivation for low-stakes tests, classroom engagement, a college access program for students of color, middle-school students learning about engi- neering design, and a summer research experience for teachers in neural engineering.Prof. Satish S. benefits ofinterventions. It is no surprise that a supportive learning environment would bring about student successand that historically underrepresented groups experience additional need for this support. Moreover, diversifying the gender and ethnic representation of ECpE graduates would yield amore diverse engineering work force more equipped to meet the challenges of tomorrow.Diverse teams are beneficial for an amalgam of moral, equitable, and innovative reasonsincluding improved problem solving and improved work outcomes [17]. This representation anddiversification is pertinent for professional and ethical advancement. Especially as the softwareand engineering (S&E) workforce continues to grow 3% faster than total employment growth

The results showed that average scores in all 3 phases of the course and the final score havedecreased in recent years. The results of Welch's T-Test demonstrate that Spring 2019's averagehas been significantly lower than all other previous semesters. The box plots also demonstrate thatthe median results for each phase and final score of Spring 2019 are outside the box range of someprevious semesters. This suggests that there might be a significant difference between them, butthis result needs more investigation to understand how significant the difference may be.Additionally, the boxes leading to Spring 2019 have

Thisframework allowed us to organize the 420 disparate comments into categories that could then beused to provide specific and actionable feedback to faculty with the goal of improving the qualityof teaching and student learning. Similar comments were combined and paraphrased to capturethe gist of the comment(s). Comments and groupings are presented below.Structured Organization Strengths  Synchronous lectures, also recorded and posted - easier to keep up with material.  Office hours  Organized Canvas (weekly plan as well as assignments and materials posted)  Class notes posted  Asynchronous (pre-recorded lecture

transition to amore stable, efficient, and reliable solution to hardware access. Accordingly, a remote labbecame an appealing approach.Remote laboratories evolved since the early 90’s and they have continued to gain attention ineducation research since that time [4]. There have been numerous definitions of remote labenvironments in the literature where the terms “remote lab” and “virtual lab” are often usedsynonymously [5, 6]. However, it is important to establish a clear distinction between the twoterms. Virtual laboratories are simulated, non-physical environments that model a real-life labwith a computer-based application. Conversely, remote laboratories give the user the ability toaccess and control physical equipment from distant locations

research purposeseasy to accomplish. One idea for expansion is to add capacitance-voltage measurementcapability by purchasing an additional source measurement unit for the measurement system. There is also interest in redesigning the switch matrix to allow multiple SMU’s to drive the DUTand enable 3 terminal device testing. This could most likely be accomplished with minimalalterations to the current test system and only minor updates to the control program. All of thesepossibilities will be explored by graduate and undergraduate students in the coming years.References[1] S. Freeman, S. L. Eddy, M. McDonough, M. K. Smith, N. Okoroafor, H. Jordt, and M.
