Engineers in theworkplace often present summaries, investigate new technologies, and/or lead meetings, so thisexperience provides useful practice for an engineering career. Finally, the experience is notoverly burdensome to the engineering faculty instructor as there is not too much grading to bedone and some class time is led by students so there is less need for the professor to prepare.
