Research also shows that themost valued career path among doctoral engineering students is that of academia, but there isalso a limited number of tenure-track positions that may be available for students in the future[3]. This trend means that future efforts for the preparation of graduate engineering students forthe professoriate must involve actions that contribute to the professional development of futureeffective and equity-minded engineering educators with an emphasis on pedagogical methods.Prepared or not, the reality is that doctoral
