hand in selecting the team, design, implementation, analysis, and presentation, improved the learning experience. The role of the instructor was morementorship than instruction. Holding weekly meetings and reports had shown the continuousstudent engagement. Importance of peer evaluation was stressed throughout the semester. A self-assessment survey was conducted among the students to identify the progress made throughproject-based learning. This survey results showed that the implementation of project-basedlearning exhibited a significant improvement in the amount of progress made in each learningobjective. This research has shown that the project-based learning mechanism has not onlyimproved technical and communication skills, but also team

For example, the topic of Additive Manufacturing, whichconstituted only two percent of the retrieved manufacturing-related activities has beenpopular among K-12 educators for at least a decade, at the emergence of three-dimensional (3D) printing era [10]. Such printers became a necessity in makerspaces andas one of the first I4.0-related activities in K-12 settings. Some authors are now trying tolink makerspaces to the advancement of manufacturing in I4.0 settings [12].Another discovery is the discipline orientation of the authors who write about both STEMeducation

?” It was a multiple-answer question.Answers are categorized into six areas that reflect how AI tools are used in an academic setting.Students were asked to choose which of these options applied to them. Responses areas areillustrated in Figure 4.Figure 4. Representation of how students utilize AI.The data highlights the varying degrees to which AI tools are utilized across differenteducational aspects. The most common use is for understanding complex concepts, chosen by 14students, followed by 13 students using AI for research and information gathering. This suggestsa trend towards utilizing AI as a learning and discovery tool, like a search engine. While severalstudents also reported using AI to enhance writing quality and generate project
